Installing the Fire TV app means sideloading it outside of the Amazon Appstore. That's completely normal for a Fire TV and only takes a couple of extra taps — here's how.

FIRE TV SETUP

STEP 1 — INSTALL DOWNLOADER

  1. On your Fire TV, go to the search icon and search for "Downloader".
  2. Install the app (it's free, published by AFTVnews).

STEP 2 — ALLOW UNKNOWN SOURCES

  1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options.
  2. Turn on Apps from Unknown Sources.
  3. If Downloader isn't listed yet, just open Downloader once first — Fire TV will then prompt you to allow it directly.

STEP 3 — DOWNLOAD & INSTALL

  1. Open the Downloader app.
  2. In the URL box, type:
    https://starz.touchlink.co.uk/tv.apk
  3. Press Go, then tap Install when prompted, then Done.

STEP 4 — LAUNCH IT

"STARZ TV" now shows up as an app tile on your Fire TV home screen. Open it any time to load the live display full-screen.
